Ready-made game setups for TCG Studio - card types, abilities, and the engine (deck rules, win conditions, combat, zones and phases) fully configured. Starter decks are left for you to build.
Train your Personality through tiers, drain a Life Deck, or gather every Relic
Power-Level BattlerA power-level duel inspired by the classic Style-based fighter TCGs. Your Personality leader rests to Ascend through tiers via a real leader-swap ability (LevelUpLeader), Allies attack with either Power Stage damage (a stat cut) or Life Card damage (mills the rival's Life Deck toward Survival Victory), and Style-locked deck building keeps every card loyal to your Personality's Style unless it's Freestyle. Collect all 7 Relics in play at once for an instant Relic Victory, powered by the engine's counter win condition.
Discard for Crystal Points, dull your Backups, and break your rival's Damage Zone
Elemental DuelAn elemental duel. Discard a card or dull a Backup for typed Crystal Points, deploy Forwards that clash in an instant Power-vs-Power Stat-Duel, and land hits in your rival's Damage Zone - fill it and they lose. A Surge-flagged card fires its own effect for free the instant it lands there, and once your own Damage Zone is deep enough you can pull a card from your Reserve Deck into the fight.
A settlement-building economy race
Economy / Worker PlacementPlace Workers to earn Coin and Influence, raise Buildings for passive income, and race to 10 Influence before your rival. A Season flag flips between Spring and Winter each turn, showcasing global flags and phase-enter triggers alongside the custom threshold-counter win condition.
A 4x4 grid-capture card duel
Grid TacticsA grid-capture card duel, expanded to a 4x4 board. Each card carries four numbers - Top, Left, Right, Bottom - shown in a diamond near the top-left corner. Take turns placing a card from your 5-card hand onto the shared 4x4 board; any adjacent opponent card whose facing number you beat flips to your color. Whoever controls more of the 16 squares once the board fills wins. No combat, no resources, no phases - just placement and comparison. Exercises the engine's Grid Duel grid-capture mode end to end, including its configurable board size: this template sets Rows/Cols to 4x4 in Studio's Card Attributes panel instead of the classic 3x3, with a curated board position - resize it further, or map the four directions to different stats, to try your own variant.
Four Talents, one Fight - pick your stat and settle it at the Hub
Urban Fantasy SkirmishHunters patrol Downtown (the contested Hub) and its three surrounding locations - the Cemetery, the Sewers and the Old Church - gearing up with Resource cards and racing to 10 Destiny Points, or grinding out sole control of the Hub for 6 turns straight. Every character has four Talents: Butt-Kicking (their Fight stat), Smarts, Weirdness and Charm. Attackers can pick ANY of the four for a Fight instead of always using Butt-Kicking, and Challenge cards test one or more Talents at once - clear them for Destiny Points, or fail and lose ground. Hero-aligned Hunters can only attempt Good challenges, and Villains only Evil ones.
A zone-tactics skirmish
Zone TacticsDeploy Characters across three connected zones - Outer, Mid and Core - equip them with Items and station them at Locations. Showcases zone-to-zone movement with adjacency and the card-to-card attachment system (Items attach to Characters, Characters station at Locations).
A straightforward creature battler
Creature BattlerThe classic shape: play Creatures and Spells, spend Mana from Resource cards, attack and block until one player's health hits zero. Power/Toughness are renamed to Power/Guard, with an extra Speed stat for flavor - a gentle example of the engine's renameable attributes.
